Basics of Natural Law

It is unfortunate that the Natural Law, which is so fundamental to the fabric of our society, isn’t a common knowledge. What’s worse, its wisdom has been deliberately hidden from the public for centuries in order to create and perpetuate the authoritarian structure that exists to this very day.

The powers that be do not want the information about Natural Law to be readily available because through its understanding and positive implementation the current system of covert tyranny and slavery would end in no time.

Fortunately, the humanity is transiting from the Dark to the Golden Age, where Truth is surfacing every corner of our planet causing the collective consciousness to rise, albeit imperceptibly. Today, this ancient knowledge about how the universe works is spoken by many teachers, authors, and common spiritual seekers, including myself.

Origins and Definitions
The word “Natural” has its roots in the Egyptian word “Ntr” [Neter] meaning: “Spirit/God” (which was represented by the white flag on a pole), and the English suffix “-al” that means: “Related to/Having come from/Of.” Consequently, it can be easily understood that the word “Natural” [Neter+ -al] means “Having come from Spirit/God” or “Related to Spirit/God.”

Natural - Inherent, having a basis in Nature, truth, reality and not caused or made by mankind.

Law - immutable and binding condition that cannot be changed or altered.

The ancient Egyptian definition

Definition of Natural Law
Natural Law is a set of Universal Spiritual conditions that govern the consequences of behavior for mankind (beings of higher intelligence who are capable of understanding own existence and consciousness); these laws are non-man made, immutable, and binding. In order to exist or to be operational, they do not require that you know or believe in them - just like the law of gravity or electromagnetism, they simply are.

However, you need to learn how the Natural Law works if you want to discover your true nature and create a better life as it is the only Law that actually applies to you.

Other names for the Natural Law that you might have heard before are:
Law of Cause and Effect, “For every action, there exists an equal and opposing reaction.”
Law of Karma or Moral Law, “You reap what you sow.”
Law of Attraction, “As you think, feel, and act - so you shall be.”
Golden Rule, “Do not do to others as you would prefer not to have done to you.”

Two Pillars of Natural Law

Natural Law is based on two main rules:

  • Non Aggression Principle (Sacred Feminine) - It is always morally wrong to initiate violence against other sentient beings; and

  • Self-Defense Principle (Sacred Masculine) - Using physical force (including arms) for the purpose of self-defense is an inherent Right and Obligation.

In other words, your freedom is only limited when the freedom of another man/woman/child begins. These two pillars of Natural Law, by the way, were the essence behind creation of the free America, where man-made [by-] laws, statutes, and regulations had no right to be forced upon people.

Principles of Natural Law
The basis of occult philosophy is formed by eight (8) spiritual principles, through which universal wisdom is revealed. They are also known as the “Hermetic Principles,” derived from the Greek god, Hermes Trismegistus, aka the “Messenger of God” and the Egyptian god, Thoth. The principles are as follows:

  1. Mentalism — All is mind; the universe is mental; thoughts are the seed of creation and every physical or emotional manifestation is a result of thoughts.

  2. Correspondence — As above, so below; the microcosmos (individual aspects of consciousness) and the macrocosmos (the totality of all) are simply reflections of one another.

  3. Vibration — Nothing is still and everything is in constant movement. At the very fundamental level, the universe is just a vibratory energy that manifests itself in various different ways. There is no solidity in this world, which is holographic by nature.

  4. Polarity — Everything has its opposites, everything is dual. Everything is identical in nature, only differs in its degree/concentration. For example hot and cold (lack of heat energy). All things that appear to be opposite may be reconciled at some level of reality.

  5. Rhythm — Everything flows, everything has its tides; action - reaction, advance - retreat. The measure of the swing to the left, is the measure of the swing to the right.

  6. Cause and Effect — Everything happens according to natural law; there is no accidence nor randomness; every cause has its effect, and every effect has its cause.

  7. Gender — Everything has its masculine and feminine properties; it manifests on all planes. Every man has his feminine aspects and every woman has her masculine qualities.

  8. Care (which is considered the ‘lost’ principle as it is not included in the original Kybalion) — Whatever you give your attention to grows. But that is not to be misunderstood for ignoring the negative situation(s) in the world/own surroundings. By ignoring it, you reject the internal work of ‘transmutation’ and only ensure that it keeps occurring. What you Care about in your daily life will be a driving force for your thoughts and behavior.
